What it sounds like
Finally an answer to the classic question: "If a tree falls in the forest and there is nobody around does it make a sound?". The answer is: Yes.. and no. At least if you trust Wikipedia.
Yes: "By sound, we commonly mean the vibrations that travel through air and can be heard by humans."
No: "... However, scientists and engineers use a wider definition of sound that includes low and high frequency vibrations in air that cannot be heard by humans, and vibrations that travel through all forms of matter, gases, liquids and solids."

MyBlogLog
Just heard about MyBlogLog and had to try it. I like the idea of being able to see the reader and not only know him/her by a number - by the way those numbers are not something to brag about at the moment.
mnts -
my girlfriend might not enjoy my blogging as much as I do. must.. get.. back.. to.. tv.

Joost impressions
It's so obvious we're heading towards TV broadcasting online. Joost (formerly known as the Venice project) has their product in beta and the early adopters slash IT nerds are screaming to get an invitation to the next hot thing online. It's number one at Technorati and has been for some time now.
I had the privilege to try it out for a few weeks now and my first impression was the nice quality of the broadcast - compared to for instance youtube (I know, a bad comparison but everyone knows about it and in my mind it marks the start of the online TV era). Unfortunately the channels and shows are not extremely good. I mean, who really wants to watch all episodes of Guiness world record TV - and that's probably one of the better channels they have at the moment.
When they're done with beta I'm hoping for some better channels and shows. Viacom has signed with the Joost people which is very much a step in the right direction, CBS just recently signed as well. Anyway, the audio/video quality is good and the potential is definetely there. I'm already looking forward to the day I can watch my favourite show or live news from anywhere in the world!
For those of you who are interested in trying it out, keep looking for invitations around the blogosphere. I'll let you know when I have another one ready for hand-out :)

done deal
It's interesting to see how people from all over the world can find a tiny teeny little space on the web. I guess it's the power of the oh so hot keywords "joost invitation" and not so much the extreme credibility I have in the blogosphere.
Anyway. The "competition" has been decided and I'm handing my invite to mblair - thanks to his dry sense of humour and play on words :)
So now I'm moving on to start writing stuff on this blog that hopefully will interest people to come back and read more. Not sure what that should be though. I'm leaning towards my mental notes about life in general - after all, there might be one or two of you who can recognize yourselves in that.
Let me know your comments.
mnts: A Joost invitation can be a good visitor boost on your blog and at the same time a hint that it's the Joost they're interested in and not you.
